BRACKLINN had been in the same family for several generations and the house was very much a part of them all. Recognising that it needed total refurbishment, the family who had taken on the task, asked us to draw up plans to reconfigure and extend the property without losing its relationship to the village square. The two elements of the main house and cottage are now linked with a glazed verandah to the rear which provides a private covered space and a new relationship to the garden.
