An attractive seven bedroom stone built house on the edge of the Estate - in need of refurbishment - was more recently purchased and we were asked to create a traditional shooting lodge, a new facility both for private guests and for family - which could operate independently from the castle.
A large drawing room/ library, dining room, and shoot room were designed along with a good-sized kitchen, utility, drying, boot and gun rooms. New fireplaces, lighting, flooring and wall panelling were installed. The seven guest bedrooms are all en-suite and kitted out for comfort and functionality.
The interior design work - the decoration/ furniture/ lighting and soft furnishings - was carried out by Denholm Partnership.
