CLATHYMORE sits in the countryside to the west of Perth.
Our brief for the first project was to design a smart, comfortable interior for a large high-end show home.
The first home sold lock, stock and barrel not very long after completion and apart from a piano, the purchaser bought every article of furniture. So we were given the opportunity of starting again with the design of a second home.
Being smaller, we chose simple finishes...painted walls, wooden floors with rugs. We filled the bespoke painted, bookcases with old prints and paperbacks, hung original artwork on the walls and found interesting bits and pieces to use here and there...all in an effort to make this really feel like someone's home rather than a stage set.
