A stunning site looking west along the loch is the location for this Trossachs project. The site is secluded from the public road and bordered by mature trees and rhododendrons.
We wished here to create a very simple, Scottish family home that would sit comfortably on the lochside and would maximise the views to the west. The approach side of the house is very traditional in style with the loch side being softer with covered verandahs, timber and glass. From here, the lawn sweeps down to the water's edge.
The house has recently been extended to create more space for an expanding family....
A new stone garage/boathouse was also built here and an existing outbuilding converted into a two bedroom guest unit with a fresh, airy contemporary interior designed by the client.
